When sentient machine-cities rebelled against the witless generations that followed their creators, the planet was wrecked by their destructive whims. Orbital cannons, solar-harnessed flash droughts and a decade-long nuclear carpet-bombing destroyed any dissident seeds of rebellion before they bloomed.

The stubborn nature of Humanity however, meant that those that survived did nothing to learn their lesson: decadent cities rose again and synthetic-beings were once more segregated and exploited.

Two centuries later, the android rebel-rockstar, RIX-4 is killed by those closest to her. Her body is found by a modern-scaramouche good-for-nothing scav(enger): Buzzard. He takes her remains to a technomancer named Stytch, who much prefers the quiet of her booby-trapped compound over any living soul.

Unknown to them, RIX-4’s reanimation will be the first true act of defiance against one of the last running machine-cities: Father.
